How long will it take to sell my first printable?

Let's look at a few of my students:

Rebecca said, “Best program ever for your printables business! I got some sales the first week!”

My student Jennifer's experience was: “I just got my first sale! Oh my god! I just listed it last night! It hasn't even been there for 24 hours y'all! Holy crap! I wanna cry!"

I have had MANY students make their first sale very quickly (within hours or a few days). While others take a little bit more time to get that first sale. However, what I want you to think about is the long-term potential. What would it feel like to make one printable today, and make money off of it for years to come, while grocery shopping, playing with your kids, or working your 9-5? You're putting in the time on the front end to make passive income on the back end.

Can't I just figure this out on my own?

I'm NOT creative. Is this for me?

Being "creative" is absolutely NOT necessary to make money selling printables. The key is to create a product that's in demand. When you create something that's helpful to others, being creative isn't a necessity.

What design software do I need for this course?

There are two tracks you can choose from inside the course - Adobe or Canva. 

Canva is completely free, so there's NO need to buy any software. However, there are a few design tricks inside Canva that require the pro version. If you'd like to use those, you can upgrade to pro at $12.99/month. However, you don't have to upgrade if you don't want to.

The tutorials in the Adobe track are completed with Adobe Photoshop, and all editable tutorials are done in Adobe DC. Both programs are $9.99/month and offer free trials. We’ll go over how to get these programs at this price in the course. 

If you'd like to use Photoshop, make sure your computer is compatible by checking out the requirements here. 

I don't have a large social media following. Can I still sell printables?

Of course! You don't need a large social media following to make sales on Etsy. If you follow the course, you'll have the complete roadmap you need to bring buyers to your shop. Specifically, in module three, lesson 5 we go over the "Etsy Listing Framework" that details what to say in your product descriptions so that your printables get traffic and sales. 

In truth, social media isn't a big driver of printable sales. It’s definitely a way you can boost your sales, but it’s not at all mandatory. So you can breath a sigh of relief on that!
